As usual, the question says more about the person asking it than any answer could towards illuminating the question's subject matter. Anti-Russia what? Against the existence of the country itself? Its people? Its government? I don't see how a Democratic administration would purport to undermine the Russian Federation to the extent that 20th century Republicans sought to do the same with the Soviet Union.

Wow, BRTD is right again. Compare Hillary Clinton and Gerald Ford on the debate stage.

Once again, I have to mention that anti communist ≠ anti Russia. Most likely the Republican party would have been more isolationist with a tsarist Russia been the other superpower. Sure there might have been a few anglocentrists and ex trotskyites who revile everything about Russian culture, but they would have been marginalized.

I think it's more simple why Democrats don't like Russia right now. Russia made it clear how much they hated the person who was the Democratic nominee for President.

Seriously. If they had hated Trump, would the Democrats really be that up in arms?

In the USA, it's the Cold War era GOP (late 1940s-1980s), and it's not even close.

i guess not as much but that would just be ignorance - putin is today's enemy nr1 for classical and modern liberalism.

Get real, we have much more significant issues, like climate change.

The Democrats don't hate Russia as a country. They are just disturbed that a sitting US President was helped in his victory by a Russian hacking campaign designed to elect him and he is obviously in the pocket of Russia.
