Rofl, left excitement because of a NY Times story. Some will never learn... #FakeNews

Very clever done by Trump: Negotiate, make concessions, changes and make clear that either THAT will become law or nothing will change and Obamacare will stay in place.

The people see that it's not the Presidents fault but the Congress fault and a lot of GOP voters will be furious with their Representatives but not with him.

Indeed, very clever.

What still is embarrassing is the amount of ill-preparation by the GOP Leadership. Talking for 7 years but not capable of making a bill that gets broad support. Ryan has to go, what a clown.
If sanctimonious phony Paul Ryan goes down for this that's an excellent result. No one has forgotten his intellectually fake Ayn Rand libertarianism disguising his blatant hackery, his long standing support for open borders, his "I'm not quite there yet" during the election.

Paul Ryan sucks.

Nothing is stopping Ryan from pulling the bill. It's ultimately his decision, not the President's.

They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. If Ryan pulls the bill, Trump will blame him. If they hold a floor vote and it fails, Trump will blame Ryan anyway. Trump has already committed to throwing Ryan under the bus, easy to do since Breitbart and Co. have been setting him up as a fall guy for months.
[/quote]I'm glad they've found a way to clip his wings. Paul "I'm just not there yet" Ryan is an open borders advocate who couldn't wait to back away from Trump during the election. The Dem leadership have made it very clear that they want Trump out of office, either by impeachment on this bogus Trump/Russia story they're pushing or if that doesn't work by the 25th Amendment. Some Republicans clearly sympathise with that position (e.g. John McCain) but are not saying it openly. Either method requires the backing of the House (Republican) leadership.

If this bill fails it will severely undermine Paul Ryan's, and indeed the entire House Republican's, credibility. Trump has also mentioned the possibility of causing problems for R Congressmen opposing him, presumably that means backing Primary challenges to them.

What all that would mean is that if in the future Ryan even thinks about puling any of that "it is with a heavy heart" crap with Trump's Presidency then he knows that he would have no strength or credibility to withstand the total onslaught from team Trump that would follow.

according to current rumours, not Ryan but Priebus is going to fall on this sword.

Source close to @POTUS says he's being advised to replace @Reince45 & is open to possibility -- healthcare was last straw

Its not either/or. They could be both on their way out.

The President tweeted the following last night

@RealDonaldTrump
Watch @JudgeJeanine on @FoxNews tonight at 9:00 P.M.

Its unusual for Trump to tweet out specific TV program recommendations like that. And how did Judge Jeanine start her show that evening?

Blame should lay with Paul Ryan trying to sell a literal turd as a healthcare bill.

I wonder if conspiracy theory aficionados might get this reference
