I'm actually going to guess its not a moderate republican voter, but a midwestern conservative democrat, or a suburban white woman. I doubt many moderate republicans backed Gore

many white women flipped to Bush for security, flipped to Obama for hope, to Romney because hope wasnt delivered, and Trump because they didnt want hillary.

conservative D's supported the war flipping them to bush, went to Obama again because of hopelessness, to Romney because they felt overlooked, and Trump to punish the "elite"

A moderate Republican would far more likely have been a Bush-Kerry voter than a Gore-Bush one.
