It amuses me to no end that Sam Spade continues to be idolized by a bunch of people he would burn at the stake if he weren't hiding behind a computer screen.

Was a broadly good if somewhat irascible poster during the first-term-Obama era or so, and then basically lost interest in the community. He briefly tried AAD, but decided he didn't like that either and so decided to become a troll and rather poisoned his reputation (which was previously good enough to have the GPG named after him).

Voted option 1, but it isn't all black and white.
