Which historical era(s) best represents your politics?

I am somewhat nostalgic for the 90s.  Also the Obama era was a time of hope for progressives.

If we go way back, I can't forget the late 1860s and early 1870s, when the Radical Republicans were in control and the prospects for social equality in the South looked promising.
