I'm afraid I'm afflicted with some sort of appreciation for the entirety of the historical aesthetic (as I understand it). Horrifying, really.

In any case, obviously the Grant, McKinley, T. Roosevelt, and Eisenhower presidencies.

I'm not a fan of the shift towards a larger defense budget and more militarist economy.

It's the single most important aspect of our nation's social safety net.
