Considering how we have a gubernatorial election coming up in Virginia, I felt like making a poll on which of the two Democratic candidates you would rather have as the nominee.

I myself cannot decide.

Northam, but Perriello is a good moderate, too.

I am in the process of requesting an absentee ballot (I'll be in Peru by the time of the June 13 Democratic primary), but once I receive it, this is how I am planning on voting:

Governor: Ralph Northam

Lt. Governor: Justin Fairfax

Attorney General: Mark Herring

Is it possible/stupid of me to hypothetically support Perriello (and vote for him if I could) whilst thinking that Northam would be a better governor, candidate and seems like a much better foot soldier for the party?

I honestly feel the same way.

Despite me not being a Democrat, I think both men will make solid governors, so I can understand where you are coming from.

I like both and supported Northam, but from what I recently saw, switching to Perriello narrowly.

I don't like either obviously, but I'm rooting for Northam. Perriello was the point man for the fake Catholic organizations discussed in John Podesta's emails and a lengthy resume of fake moderateness from back when he was pretending to be a blue dog. I don't agree with Northam on much, and at face value he's the more hostile of the two toward the pro-life movement, but he's still better than Perriello.

Perriello, but I'd be happy with either one as the nominee.

As a conservative neither seem too bad but I'd rather it be Northam in the end. Perriello strikes me as someone who could make waves on the national stage (possibly even run for president?) while Northam seems relatively moderate and unambitious. Perriello honestly scares me more, so I'd root for Northam (even though I'd take Gillespie over both).

There's definitely some underhanded and fake-feeling stuff about Perriello but he's still better than Northam.

I really, really trust our Virginia posters on this one. Both are solid, but I think Northam is exceptional for the party. And anyone associated with Podesta, yuck yuck yuck. Seriously, look at that endorsement list. Shame Northam is 'fiscally conservative, socially liberal (like me lol)' but sometimes you have to vote for someone who doesn't share your views because it's better in the long-run. Ultimately, it's the governor of a state that has minimal effect on me, so let them decide (unless Perriello is actually using it as a springboard, in which case, please stop that in its tracks)

Eastern Ukraine is probably a more sustainable direction for the party than western Ukraine.

Yeah, Sarvis is not a libertarian, and doesn't even try to be.
