UNC/UNC

I am a Chapel Hill resident (though not a student/alum) and want UNC to win. I think UNC is the better team, had the tougher regular season schedule, has played more close games, and beat better teams in the Tourney. UNC has beaten a 2 seed and a 3 seed and Gonzaga's highest opponents were a 4 seed, and then a 7.

I have this sick feeling that this is one of those years that UNC is getting every single break and will be handed this championship. The refs gave them the Arkansas game and Oregon gave the game away like a bunch of lazy chumps last night.

Gonzaga is a good team, and shouldn't be looked down upon for being in the WCC and for the seeds they have faced. They faced a Northwestern team that had a lot of heart and emotion behind them, a West Virginia team with a great coach in Bob Huggins, a Xavier team that had knocked off three serious teams, and a South Carolina team that had been playing the best ball of the tournament. That road is just as tough as UNC's, minus maybe only Kentucky.

So I think and hope Gonzaga can beat UNC, but I have a feeling there is some joo joo that is going to give the game to UNC. Go Zags.

Gonzaga can beat UNC, but it's going to be difficult at best. It's going to come down to Gonzaga's veterans against UNC's freshmen, who arguably have slightly better talent but less experience.

Gonzaga 75 UNC 73 in Overtime.

UNC is one of the most experienced teams in the country. All of the starters are juniors (Pinson, Berry, Jackson) or seniors (Meeks, Hicks). UNC has some freshmen on the bench, but not any more than Gonzaga.

Zags, UNC has won too many times and beat U of I in 2005. And I live on the Pacific Coast not in the East anymore. Regional, that is.
