You're just describing the Strip and Downtown.  Which is fine; non-locals only ever do.  I haven't been to either in about six months.
Yeah, I always forget how non-hot it is in the Vegas suburbs. Smiley

"It's a dry heat", yeah it's still 120 which would be 80 and humid or worse.
