Probably not. Charles Barkley has floated it in the past, but I doubt he actually does. Tim Tebow was rumored for an office in Florida, but with him playing baseball thats probably never going to happen, Ted Nugent and Kid Rock have been mentioned for Senate but I think its just bluster. People talk about Tim McGraw but he's not running.

I think the Rock should run for the Senate against that evil old lady who shall not be named.

THE Rock or KID Rock?

Tim McGraw would be interesting, because he is literally the only Dem who could win statewide in TN and he has expressed an interest in politics before.

I could see Edwards making a good Senator... Is he a Dem?

He'd be great if every time a measure he voted for passes he does a back flip

No he's not. He'd beat McCaskill by 15 though.

I don't know if you consider him a "celebrity" but former Auburn head football coach Tommy Tuberville is pretty loudly contemplating a run for AL-GOV. Last week, he said that UA fans should thank him for Nick Saban.

He's definitely a celebrity.

Cuban said in an interview that he would never run for lower office. He said that if he was going to run, he would go all in and run for President.
