So far, VVD is assumed to be aligning with CDA and D66. GL may join them, as might CU. Does anyone know whether CU or CDA is more socially conservative/theocratic?

CDA is more or less a generic Christian Democratic party. Christen Unie is explicitly Christian, and combines social conservatism with centre to centre left economics. SGP is openly theocratic.

Read the Explain Dutch politics thread for a more detailed explanation of the parties by DavidB.
