Not really due to the left leaning bias but it is miles above Fox. I prefer CNN or online sources, usually Google News and then sorting through the sites. Proper, meaning strictly non-agenda, pure analysis news died a long time ago.

No, but it's vastly superior to Fox (low bar, I know) if for no other reason than it isn't (AFAIK) a giant cesspool of sex predators.  That said, I would not be the least bit surprised if Chris Matthews' career ends in essentially the same way as O'Reilly's just based on the way he sometimes behaves on air toward female reporters (ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKBDOLdU-Ug and he's also made some pretty creepy comments mentioned throughout this article: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9907EEDB1530F930A25757C0A96E9C8B63&pagewanted=all ).  I don't watch either network because...well...if I'm going to watch shameless propaganda masquerading as a noble civic service, I might as well watch a Michael Moore movie.  At least he's entertaining

I don't know if the right should hate NY Times, but Trump certainly should not.
