Fire. Him. Now.

If I were a top manager I would be swift to fire anyone who put company assets at risk from any lawsuit for malfeasance -- and a sexual-harassment lawsuit is the most pointless risk that I can imagine.

Hey, at least we can buy his internet history along with Hannity once Trump and Congress gut privacy. That will probably end them for good.

Why would it end them? Trump has proven that the type of hypocritical and deplorable human scum who watch Hannity and O'Reilly only care about behavior when it can be used as a tool to bludgeon "outsiders" with.

This article sounds like something about Roger Ailes or even Donald Trump, but alas it's about Bill O'Reilly.

I suddenly remember this old bingo board courtesy of Maddox:

Yes, I think one of the things this shows is how Fox 'News' wants to have it both ways.

Prior to this, Bill O'Reilly had been found to have told multiple lies, just like Brian Williams.  Yet, while Brian Williams was removed from hosting the NBC's network news (relegated to MSNBC), Fox just shrugged its shoulders.

Yet, when conservative and Fox 'News' people pointed to the treatment by some Democrats, including at times, by President Obama and then to the way President Trump is treating the major news networks and publications, they point to this treatment of Fox 'News' and claim Democrats also didn't treat serious news outlets 'properly' at times.

I realize that O'Reilly is supposedly a commentator or something and not an unbiased journalist, but I think they are clearly trying to have it both ways.  Either they are a serious news network and the behavior of their journalists matter, or they are a partisan outfit for propaganda and entertainment purposes, and the behavior of their journalists aren't actually important and they shouldn't be regarded as the equivalent of the major news networks or, for instance, the New York Times or the Washington Post.

I have to ask, do we think that Bill O. might be off tv in the near future? This advertising money should matter, you would think...

Can O'Reilly continue to make money for Fox on the back of ads for gold coins, term life insurance, diabetes supplies (reimbursable by Medicare), scooters (reimbursable by Medicare), and off-brand dietary supplements? Probably, if not as much as justifies his current salary.
