Eh, the article has some good points, but the race card won't play anymore in my opinion. America is somewhat segregated. People hang around people that look like them. That's how it is.

White people use more drugs, use worse drugs, and get away with them more.

I don't disagree with the article's main point, but I fear it could be read to falsely imply that the political class is taking the opioid crisis seriously.

USA is easily the most racially integrated place on Earth.

If you listed accurately the 50 most racist countries on the planet, i dont see why the multicultural ones like Australia, Canada, Sweden and the USA would be on the list.

And as a measure of racism, i would use opportunities for proper education and employment without racial bias.

In Australia, if i offer jobs for field hands and geologists in the outback, we will have applicants from Romania, Italy, Australia, Belgium.

We've employed French chefs, lesbian hipsters, smiling Sudanese immigrants with low English.

It really does not matter here the background as long as you can do the job.

You really dont have that much to worry about if the only racial
discriminator is Tremodol.

There's a reason why the crack crisis was met with a "tough on crime" crackdown (no pun intended); it was what leaders in the black community wanted to see done. It was destroying their communities and they called for drastic action to stop the tide.

Lol studies have shown whites get away with it much more than minority's.

Very simplistic but this would help.

This - I am very anti-drug from a personal lifestyle perspective, but I do think that legalized marijuana would help provide a much safer outlet for people than opioids.
