Pretty ridiculous how we even see stuff about this. Hatch has been in the Senate since 1976, and he is now 83 years old. Another term would put him over 90. At what point is he going to retire and give other, younger politicians a shot? Why does he have to stick around in public office until he literally dies? People like this are extraordinarily frustrating.

On top of that, note the irony from this very old Hatch quote:
