We do not have true freedom of expression unless we have the right to avoid certain expressions. Many of us have concerns that someone might draw conclusions that could get someone laid off or fired. Many employers would be delighted to fire or lay off workers who show evidence of holding beliefs that their bosses abhor -- from environmentalism to gay rights.

Add to this, I do not want to be spammed. That takes out much of the fun of the Internet. If I wanted non-stop commercial hustling I would be watching an infomercial channel.
