There is no right answer here. I don't get why people are freaking out so much.

The right answer was to not escalate this.

Assad already did that by gassing his own people.

We are NOT the world police. We shouldn't be escalating international strife unilaterally like this. There wasn't even debate in Congress.

I know its cruel but Syria is no imminent threat to us and its better to let things play out. There are atrocities being committed everyday in NK but we tolerate it, Syria just doesn't have nukes.

Well, let's just hope this doesn't escalate.

Oh, it will.

Uhh, pretty sure we're going into North Korea too. Trump seems dead set on fixing the world's worst problems once and for all to be his defining accomplishment.

We are even if we are reluctant. That is changing back to the great powers multipolarism world but we are the only superpower for now.

The options for NK are limited because Seoul would be leveled within minutes and millions would die they'd probably target Japan too.

We can't be world policemen, and expect to solve every problem in the world, or even get involved in everything in the world. But when something reaches a certain magnitude with an immediate crisis, we need to do something. When it became clear years ago that tens of thousands (even without WMDs) were dying in Syria, we needed to do something. And with hindsight, it might have also prevented ISIS from filling the vacuum, the international refugee crisis stemming from Syria, and the xenophobic/isolationist/anti-Muslim backlash that has rushed the Nationalist Right to power across Europe and the United States.

 One of Obama's biggest mistakes.

Good? You support this strike because of what a few people on Twitter are saying?

I'm pretty sure TSA didn't imply he supports the move, simply that he finds satisfaction in this one consequence of an otherwise awful act.

Watch carefully those congressmen and journalists who jump on the intervention train. We've seen this before.

Thank God, soldiers at Al-Shayrat said no casualties. No Russians hit. Most missiles struck the same area on the airfield.

We needed Feingold in the senate to talk some common sense like he did back then. The US government is foaming at the mouth again.

I'm very interested to hear what Tulsi's response will be.
