There are only a few hours left in this great exercise of democracy, and our march for progress continues unabated.

My opponent, so bereft of any ideas or imagination, has attempted to turn this entire democratic process into a mere referendum of personality.  Such a campaign is not fit for the people of this great Commonwealth.  They deserve so much more.

They deserve to hear positive and bold solutions to the real issues affecting their daily lives and not have some person parachuted into their lives who does not know the issues or know the very region he is running in.

I hope that we can deliver a vote for progress and hope today.  Onward to victory!

As your esteemed opponent keeps mentioning Rubber stamps perhaps we could play this until the early hours of the morning?

Statement: For Immediate Release

I note with enormous happiness the results of the Senate election and thank the good people of this great region for the trust which they have placed in me.

I would like to thank Mr Wulfric for his aknowledgement in his remarks and I wish him well for the future.

I will be making a full statement on the election and the path forward tomorrow. Until then, let us celebrate (and sleep), for tomorrow we get to work!

Congratulations, Senator-elect. Probably the main silver lining on this disappointing election weekend was your election.

I now join my fellow Atlasian in the long and degrading unemployment queue over the next two weeks between the expiration of my term in the Fremont House of Commons and the commencement of my term in the Senate.

During this period, I will be developing a range of legislation which I hope to have ready at the beginning of my term. I have already secured a bipartisan co-sponsor for my National light rail funding bill and will be seeking to work with the regional executives to secure funding arrangements.

Stay tuned.

Tomorrow I will have the high privledge and honor to become Fremont's Senior Senator (I'm basically a senior citizen already in Atlasia terms!) and represent this great Commonwealth in that august body.

I look forward with interest to this weekend's special Senate election and wish both candidates well as they vie to earn the endorsement of the voters.

I hope that my term will be marked by a resurgence of activity and quality achievements in the federal government as we strive to make this nation more equal and more fair. I am looking forward to taking up this mantle and, with your support, know I can succeed.
