O’Malley is currently doing a town hall event in South Carolina.  (Yes, he holds no office, and is presumably two years from announcing a presidential run, yet he’s doing a town hall at the College of Charleston in South Carolina.)  This journalist is live-tweeting the event:

and I can’t help but think of how many of the soundbites sound like Chinese proverbs.  E.g….

What is this guy doing? I have never met an O'Malley supporter and I don't know anybody on the internet who wants him to run again.

My dad once got a fortune cookie that said "People will be amazed at your stupidity." Wonder if he'll use that in his next doomed campaign.

I really, really, really despise these cheesy political statements like Booker and, it seems, O'Malley love making.

Wow, that's the best one.  I can't believe he actually said that.  I guess the town hall is over now, so we won't be getting any more of these today.  Sad

Super opaque/postmodern O'Malley is a candidacy I could get behind. Will he return to the campaign trail super #woke and sporting the aesthetic of an Eastern religion?

If he continues this type of thing I might give him ironic support, unless the most amazing politician in the universe Sherrod Brown runs.

Devout Buddhist (American-style) Martin O'Malley would at least be more interesting than this empty suit of a man.

He sounds like a parody of Jerry Brown circa 1977.

It will be a real shame if this clown gets more than 1% in the primary polls. He is essentially campaigning as soon as the election ends & is largely limiting him to the Early 4 states & Iowa is his 2nd home now.

And those cheesy lions - Give it up Martin - I want to see a O Malley vs Trump debate & let Trump destroy O Malley like the clown he is !

In other Martin O'news: O'Malley says he doesn't think Sanders would have won last year if he'd been the nominee, but he does think that he (O'Malley) would have won:

I wonder if O'Malley could beat Hogan in a MD Governor race.  I actually doubt it.

Forget the French election.  The big political event tomorrow is Martin O'Malley's trip to New Hampshire.  Details here:

I am hoping someone live tweets at least the town hall part.  Hoping for some more O'Wisdom about how Love is a superpower, and should get a seat on the UN Security Council.
