No, but plenty of SOF (Show of Force) deployments to the area. If Kim decides to really up the antenna with more nuclear tests or an ICBM launch, then the potential for US/SK preemptive action goes up. (Part of a Korea USN deployment last year)

Makes sense...amd by "go up", does it become certain or simply a reasonably foreseeable possibility?

Let's say this: i cant see the status quo in DPRK surviving the next four years for better or (grimly enough given the dystopian nature of the regime) for worse.

Take makes fools of all. Then again, the situation could solve itself in a few days. I think the big question is whether Seoul and Tokyo are safe..
