Who's the best bet for Kansas Governor?

Davis made it close while only winning Shawnee (Topeka), Douglas (Lawrence), Wyandotte (Kansas City), and a few college towns.

KS-04 showed that rural territory is going to be very tough whereas edging out a win in Sedgwick County is possible.

Though he's not the establishment favorite and is more folksy than polished, is Wichita's former mayor Carl Brewer, the Democrats' best bet? As a hometown favorite, I think he could have a shot.

Should Jim Thompson do a rematch in KS-04 or try for a statewide office--perhaps a challenge to Kris Kobach?

I would assume Paul Davis would be interested in another run, especially if it's against Colyer or Kobach

I heard somewhere Paul Davis is also considering KS-02 as well.

He'd be a great candidate there

I would prefer Davis for KS-02 and run Brewer and/or Svaty statewide.

Davis is in for KS-02. I think Svaty would be the best candidate. Brewer is not bad either.

Is Kevin Yoder (KS-03) vulnerable? He won by 10 while Hillary won his district by 1. Could be good opportunity for dems.
