Not an American and don't feel any "attachment" to the monarchy in the UK, but I sure think the UK is the "archetypical" monarchy and I absolutely hope this institution will continue to exist. Am more indifferent on the issue in the Netherlands, which means I tend to support the status-quo.

I do think it would be delusional for anybody to think that the U.S. political system is functioning better than the UK system.
