Good from a tactical perspective (caving in tunnels). MOAB should have been used long ago in Korengal and other spots. It might be a dual use operation - tunnel closings but also using the BDA to scale for potential use in NK and Syria (good for mission planning).

What's ironic is that the Russians have the Father of all Bombs FOAB with a 4 times MOAB yield, rated at 44K TNT equivalent. They should drop it in Afghanistan just for comparison.
