What is your opinion of American voters who wrote-in former 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in November 2016 over Trump, Clinton, Johnson, Stein?

Again, it depends on which state they voted in. If they voted in Kentucky, FF. If they voted in California, FF, if they voted in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or Michigan: EPIC HP.

A state by state map of whether a Sanders write in voter would be an FF or HP per this

ignoring a voters ability to actually do so

I would quibble with ME-1, TX, GA, AZ, and NC, but otherwise yeah.

Texas, Georgia, Arizona, and North Carolina were all thought to be swing states before the election, although out of those Texas was the least likely to go for Clinton by the time of the election.

A vote in ME-1 is still a vote in Maine, which turned out to be pretty close.

Personally I thought all of those excepting NC were fool's gold, and didn't consider NC all that much either.

Point taken re: the ME 1, but nobody but nobody *thought * it would be that close.

FFs.

Comeyghazi at that precise point pretty much guaranteed everything for Trump. I never should've second-guessed that as I did.

That's not actually the case in Pennsylvania.  It is in most states, and certainly in all the other states I have voted in, but here there is no such thing as a "legitimate write-in" candidate, the way there is in California, for example.  You can look it up on the PA Dept. of State website if you're interested in the details, but the gist of it is if you write in a candidate it is legitimate and it gets counted.

I didn't write in Sanders but I wrote in Bradford Lyttle, who was a legit candidate in the broad sense that he was actually running a write-in campaign.  But in my county there were many write-in votes, and they were all counted and reported.  I followed it closely.  It took about a five days for the names to be released.  (The DOS website stated that it could take up to two weeks.)  A few of the more memorable write-in candidates in my county follow:  Bernie Sanders, Bernard Sanders, B. Sanders, Ronald McDonald, Tony Romo, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Duke, Theodore Roosevelt, Pee Wee Herman, Elmer Fudd, Frank Zappa, Bill Gates, Alfred E. Newman, Rick Astley, Spiderman, Tom Ridge, Tom Hanks, Willie Nelson, and my personal favorite, Harambe.

I voted FF in this poll.
