Exactly.
If we cannot assure our nearby allies that a nuke will not hit their big cities, we need to be VERY, VERY careful with ANY military action we take.

The Pentagon just says "reporting this is dangerous."

Not exactly refuting it... they might just want it to be a surprise attack.

Do you have any other sources on them more clearly refuting it?

If they said yes to confirm this NBC report Japan and South Korea would not agree, as they want to drill their civilians for a nuclear strike. They have to deny it to reassure Japan and South Korea, but they are being two-faced. Trump does not care about civilians. This report is true, make no mistake.

I'll give Trump something here, and I hope I'm right. Of all the negative things I think he is, I find it hard to believe he is EVIL.

That he deliberately wants to murder innocent people doesn't sound like something he would condone.

That said, I believe all his attempts at showing power is just saber rattling from our TV personality President. Playing with bombs is scary business and I hope he comes to what little sense he has and stops this madness.

I wonder if this is a similar to the story of putting 150,000 troops into Syria.

That's just more of Trump's Royal, say-anything-to-get-elected bullcrap.

I still don't think he has evil intentions. I think he's very ignorant when it comes to politics, war, terrorism....etc., but his ignorance doesn't necessarily translate to evil.

At any rate, I did say I "hope" I was right. Nobody knows who Trump is or what he's going to do at any moment. I'm just taking a guess, giving him the benefit of the doubt, for once.

Anybody who doesn't think Trump would do this is foolish, just as foolish as people who didn't think he'd try and follow through with the wall, the Muslim ban, or that he wouldn't get elected in the first place.

That was somebody in the WH wanting to do that, allegedly.

This is saying the military that was sent there (that's a fact) is now ready to attack at a moment's notice.

Actually going through with bombing Assad in Syria was not "saber rattling."

A Very interesting article from a people's Liberation Army News website (English language version). The article has been taken down from the website but can still be seen in Google cache. It comments on a recent editorial in the Chinese communist party owned popular tabloid Global Times

Here's the most important bits of the article

In other words if the US launches an attack on North Korea the Chinese will,  in their own self interest, stabilise the situation by invading and occupying North Korea themselves thereby solving the problem once and for all.

Now this is just one article, it doesn't necessarily represent PRC policy, but you can see how such a course of action could be in the long term interests of the PRC as well as the US, ROK and Japan.

No comment except to say a situation like this could be plausible in the case of a Day of the Sun (tomorrow) nuclear test. Right now it is a show of force (SoF).

Absurd. North Korea has tested five nuclear weapons. Why does a sixth suddenly set off nuclear war? Let's be honest... the differing variable is not Kim but Trump. He is morally culpable for any deaths that result from this attack.
