It looks cool on first glance, but I sympathize with Di Modica's frustration with what they have turned his sculpture into.  De Blasio's response to him really irks me - I would call it 'Philistine' but that would be unfair to Iron Age Sea Peoples.

It's a fine statue, even if it is essentially a fig leaf corporate ad. It's position, however, amounts to gross defacing of an iconic piece of New York art.

De Blasio remains the worst politician in the US. Relocate it to Gracie Mansion and make De Blasio stare at it when he gives speeches.
