I prefer Texas's trends in every election except for the most recent one.

This is who I would support(If only options was the two options)

1984- Solid GOP
1988- Solid GOP
1992- Lean GOP
1996- Likely Dem
2000- Lean GOP
2004- Likely GOP
2008- Likely Dem
2012- Likely GOP
2016- Lean Dem

So for trend mine is

1988- No change though 1984 is stronger then 1988 so lets say trend dem
1992- Trend Dem
1996- Trend Dem
2000- Trend GOP
2004- Trend GOP
2008- Trend Dem
2012- Trend GOP
2016- Trend Dem

Florida matches mine other then  1988,2000,2008,2016
Texas matches mine other then 1992,1996,2004

So Texas barely
