Both sides do it. I'm tired of the moral superiority of both sides. I'm so glad that I am a centrist.

Apparently joking about the deaths of people or demographics with opposing political views is only acceptable when you're Republican.

The moral superiority of the center towers above all.

Instead of talking about this, the liberal media will talk about the guy in Florida who used profanity.

i find bronz's shtick hilarious but it is ofc less about being a moderate than about permanent "whataboutism". nothing ever matters cause there could be something else.

Back on topic (as fun and deserved as bronzbashing is) this sort of thing is a real problem in the ME Democratic party. A lot of my friends involved with ME politics are very, very frustrated by the frankly classist attitudes that a lot of affluent York + Cumberland county folks take in their dealings with the rest of the state, and it really harms the Democratic Party's chances in the 2nd CD (the 1st and 2nd CDs of course being euphemisms for rural vs southern Maine). Especially when you then get cranks like Cynthia Dill representing this view to the public at large.

But for people outside of New England: this is far from the opinion of most Northern New England Democrats, or even Maine Democrats. And it's a completely disgusting and awful worldview.

The title is misleading.  It was a speaker who was promptly called out by people attending and has been disavowed.  But go on with you only presenting some of the facts.  It seems the only thing conservatives can do now.

Is this your first time on USGD? There's a thread like this by Dems every other day.

Because some Republican nowadays says something like this every other day.

This thread obviously "proves" the inevitable riposte that "both sides are just as bad".
