Pew poll taken today has shown that polling advantages reps had going into 2014 midterm have flipped blue mainly 3 big topics: foreign policy, taxes, and government spending. Going into 2014 the reps had a 6+R lead on "government spending" it is now 8+D, they had a 15+R on "taxes" it is now 1+R, and they had a  13+R on foreign policy that is now 13+D. Should this scare reps?

Edit: YUGE update on poll it also has dems at 54-35 on the topic of "healthcare" citing the Trumpcare implosion. Ok that should scare reps. https://mobile.twitter.com/StevenTDennis/status/854019302273560576

Having Dems be competitive on "taxes" is hard for anyone who lived through the last quarter of the 20th century to comprehend.

If anything reveals that we are in the tail end of the Reagan era, that would probably be it.

That's actually the worst of these numbers for the republicans. If republican tax policy's appeal shrinks to their base, that will be a one way ticket to Bernietown.

Not really. Democrats had a slight advantage on this issue in polling conducted in the early 90s and the W years. It just means an R is an unpopular president.

Yeah, in a good environment, Dems usually have the advantage on taxes.
