Probably Bryan, but I wouldn't mind Smith winning. The 1928 election in particularly had two incredibly good candidates; it would've been very difficult for me to decide who to vote for. I really like Herbert Hoover...

I respect and admire quite a few of Bryan's contributions to American life, but definitely Smith, assuming this is 1928 Smith and not 1930s "opposing the New Deal out of spite" Smith.
