Bernie Sanders is a person who cares about all people.  His ideas can be debated, but I give him credit for honest concern about all average citizens.

Maxine Waters gives no indication that she is concerned for the welfare of America's middle class.  You can, indeed, be for the poor and against the middle class, and this describes Maxine Waters fairly well.
