Did Bill Clinton's hair rapidly get grey near the end of his Governorship due to stress or just typical aging? It seemed like it went quick for him. Pictured above he is about 39/40 in 1986, and the second picture is when he was still 46 in Jan 1993.

Hey, maybe he stopped dying it.

Just lost the enthusiasm to use "Just For Men".

I wouldn't put it past him if he dyed his hair grey prematurely just to look a bit older when running.

This happens especially fast when someone becomes president:

Barry O in 2008:

Barry O in 2016:

Bush in 2000 and in 2008:

For everyone except Reagan, who had a full head of black hair until his early 80s, the presidency seems to make the hair grow white.  It also seems to make the smile go away, except again for Reagan, who smiled all through the 1980s.

Now, those are presidents, but governor is probably a hair-whitening job as well.  That clinton appears significantly older after 8 years of governorship is not surprising.  After 8 years of US Presidency, it's even more noticeable.

Clinton after eight years of being president:

or as the saying goes: once you go cray, you never go grey. or, perhaps: a prion a day keeps the silver away. a plaquey brain staves a whiter mane.

(for the record no one says these, please don't say these, it's dumb and I feel bad, but not bad enough apparently)
