Perhaps some low-level campaign and political staff do, but I hope most politicians don't.  This forum isn't as important as many think, especially in the age of Twitter.

I remember there was a conspiracy theory that TN Volunteer was once a staffer for former NH congressman Charles Bass due to his username "IndyRep," his obsession with New Hampshire, and this Wikipedia entry on concern trolls:
