Congratulations, you can now have oh so much in common with blonde-haired, six-foot Laxbros that never developed a set of skills that didn't involve twirling a lacrosse stick, getting a "Leadership" minor, or vigorously mixing a protein shake.

Huh, I had no idea that the most vocal critics of frats were guys like that, but okay.

Oh no, not critical to any necessary extent--simply verbally lazy and informally.

Eh, I think there are contexts where using some shortcuts and slangs works well, but overall I wouldn't say I'm like that.
