What if...John Kerry challenged the voting controversies in Ohio during the 2004 Presidential Election?

November 2, 2004-

After voting controversies in Ohio are revealed, John Kerry instead of conceding demands an investigation into this matter.

November 2004- An investigation occurs into this matter.

December 2004- It is determined that Ohio and its 20 electoral votes shall be awarded to John Kerry after double voting and other issues were revealed, however this was not connected to the Bush camp. The election has swung the other way for John Kerry.

January 2005-
John Kerry is sworn in as the 44th President with John Edwards as Vice President.

January 2006-
The Foreign Front- Beginning the pulling out of troops from Iraq as well as placing restrictions on torture, the Republicans say that Kerry is being too weak and giving up, and with no successes on the Domestic Front, the people rally against him.

The Domestic Front- Republicans ensure that not one piece of the Presidents Domestic Agenda is carried out, resulting in constant stagnation and even a government shutdown in October 2005.

Kerrys approvals are in the high 30s-low 40s

January 2007-
The Foreign Front- The pulling out of troops continue as well as the Republican attacks.

The Domestic Front- With continued lack of success for his Domestic Agenda, Kerry marked his 18 month point in July, which is considered the end of governing as the midterms occur, with nothing done. Despite hard time campaigning for the midterms, Republicans destroyed the Democrats in November 2006.

Kerrys approvals are vary from low 30s to medium 30s to high 30s.

2007- 2008
The Foreign Front- The same as before.

The Domestic Front- Nothing gets done.

In April 2007 Kerry announces his candidacy for a second term, he is the only one in the race as he is a sitting President.

However, after announcing in February 2007, Mitt Romney wins his party's nomination after Super Tuesday.

After both candidates are nominated, they hit the trail.

Romney destroys Kerry during the debates.

November 2008- Destroying John Kerry, Mitt Romney goes on to be elected the nations 45th U.S. President.

January 2009- John Kerry exits office as President while Romney becomes President.

While Romney denies going back into Iraq he expands the war on terror in many places including Afghanistan and enacts a sweeping conservative agenda at home. He is reelected in a landslide.

His second term was much of the same for the first two years until January 2015 when a financial crisis, much like the one in 2008 that occurred in real life for the same reasons.

With none of his methods working, Barack Obama, a Senator and a vocal outspoken critic of Romney, is elected President in a landslide.

January 2017- Barack Obama takes office as Romney leaves.

Three months and 2 days in office, Obama has taken America back to the liberal side both domestic and foreign wise.
