Not surprising, large chunk of the left throwing a tantrum there. "Marcon and LePen are the sames!!1!1!1".

53% of Mélenchon voters supported FBM, but only 48% of Fillon's did, but of course a right-winger like you only takes issue with the former.

Generally the right always turns out, the left doesn't. It goes for far stricter purity tests so they'd prefer LePen winning than holding their nose and making sure it doesn't happen. White privilege at it's finest!

...but the non-Le Pen right had almost as many abstentions as Melenchon's voters, and far more than Hamon's.

Over a third of the vote in, Macron already 20+ points ahead and increasing the margin. Expected a better performance from Le Pen, to get into the 40s.

I don't think the point is that it's "ok". But it's hard to mock a fascist for voting their side. What else are they gonna be doing? It's more offensive to have people betray their team due to pettiness or purity issues.

No, sh**t, I would have voted for an actual socialist over LePen (or (gag) Sanders over Trump, like I did Clinton over Trump). I'm just explaining how a lot of people could be thinking about it. yeah, it's working great. National Front went from losing by unprecendent, shocking margins to losing by almost unprecedented, Goldwater in 1964 margins to a very enthusiasm driving candidate.

  So I take it my 150 dollars on FBM to win  (or rather MLP to lose, placed before the runoff)are safe at predictit. My winnings should be about 45 dollars. Hilarious that at one point MLP was at 38% chance to win for a day or so a few days before the runoff.
