While a fierce opponent of those who perpetuate the "parties switched ideologies" myth, it's infinitely more stupid to hold a modern day Democrat accountable for the actions of a man who's been dead for close to 200 years and happened to belong to that era's version of the "Democratic Party" ... but yes, Andrew Jackson was absolutely terrible.
