Marco Rubio Campaign Ad

In an effort to win among South Carolina's veterans, hawkish voters and undecided voters who selected foreign policy and terrorism as the most important issue, Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts a T.V. ad narrating Marco Rubio's record and plan in facing North Korea's nuclear threat and to maintain peace on the Pacific Ocean.

The ad titled « Tested » airs mostly in South Carolina but also in Nevada, Alabama, Alaska Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia

« Tested » advertisement narration :

North Korea has become much more dangerous than ever before. Kim Jong-un seeks to develop North Korea's nuclear arsenal in order to trigger nuclear wars against its neighbors, especially South Korea and Japan. And some Chinese companies are transferring millions of dollars to Kim Jong-un's regime to finance the continuation of their nuclear program. Unless we take action, these nuclear missiles will be used to strike the United States on their territory, especially Hawaii, Alaska and the Western Coast, which would cause millions of deaths and the beginning of a nuclear war.

Marco Rubio has demonstrated strong and courageous leadership to face this threat. He successfully co-sponsored the North Korea Sanctions and Enhancement Policy Act of 2016, a bill that increased diplomatic and economic sanctions against North Korea and imposed sanctions on companies that are serving as financial intermediaries to North Korea, which deprives Kim Jong-un's regime of the necessary revenues to the development of nuclear weapons. As President of the United States, Marco Rubio will not only keep that leadership but also put North Korea back on the list of state sponsors of terror, put in place additional sanctions especially on their leadership who holds significant assets overseas, rebuild our military alliances in the Asia-Pacific region and recommit to missile defense in order to take down any North Korean nuclear missile or weapon of mass destruction launched against the United States or their allies. That's how we're going to win without any war with North Korea.

Among all the candidates running for President, Marco Rubio has the best foreign policy experience, knowledge and leadership to keep America safe, strong and peaceful. He has been tested on this critical national security challenge and he won. He is ready to lead America as our next commander-in-chief, to face the enemy, to keep America safe and to keep the Pacific Ocean pacific.

I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Marco Rubio Campaign Ad

In an effort to win among Nevada's Hispanics, young voters, middle-class voters and casino people through his ties and connections in Nevada (since Marco Rubio and his family lived in Las Vegas during his childhood and due to the fact that Rubio's father worked as a bartender at the Sam's Town Hotel and her mother worked as a housekeeper at the The Linq, both casinos located in Las Vegas), Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts an ad narrating the hard work of Mario Rubio Reina, Senator Rubio's father, as a bartender and describing it as a great and remarkable example of the importance of restoring and defending the American Dream.

The ad titled « Bartender » airs in Nevada both in English and Spanish

« Bartender » advertisement narration (English version) :

I remember the sounds of his keys jingling at the front door of our home, well past midnight as he returned from another long day at work.

My father was grateful for the work he had, but that was not the life he wanted for his children. He wanted all the dreams he once had for himself to come true for us. He wanted all the doors that closed for him to open for me.

So my father stood behind a small portable bar in the back of a room for all those years, so that I could stand behind this podium in front of this room and this nation. That journey from behind that bar to behind this podium, that's the essence of the American Dream.

I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Marco Rubio Campaign Ad

In an effort to win among South Carolina's fiscal conservatives, Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts an ad featuring South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley who narrates her record in terms of job creation and praises Marco Rubio's plan to make America the best place in the world to do business.

The ad titled « Land of Opportunity » airs in South Carolina

« Land of Opportunity » advertisement narration :

Nikki Haley : Thanks to our leadership, South Carolina is one of the most prosperous states in America. After the great recession in the late 2000s, when the Palmetto State's unemployment rate was at 12 %, we managed to attract new companies by reducing corporate income tax rate to 5 %, by abolishing state property tax, local income tax, inventory tax, sales tax on manufacturing equipment, wholesale tax and unitary tax on worldwide profits and by having industrial power or materials for finished products, which boosted job creation and innovation in South Carolina. We cut taxes, opposed regulations and successfully invited business to move to South Carolina by considerably lowering the cost of doing business in the Palmetto State, which created over 80 000 new jobs in South Carolina during the six years of my governorship and reduced the local unemployment rate from 12 % in 2009 to 5 % this year in 2016.

As President of the United States, Marco Rubio will use this kind of leadership, but for all across this country. He will cut taxes and regulations for all Americans and business owners, abolish the IRS and replace it with a 15 % flat tax, reduce our corporate tax rate from 40 % to 20 % so American businesses can be competitive, he will cut taxes and regulations for America's manufacturing businesses so we can keep our manufacturing jobs and create more jobs in this sector, and he will reduce the cost of doing business in America, which will make the United States of America the best place in the world to do business and ensure permanent prosperity here in the land of opportunity.

As a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Marco knows what it takes to get American businesses working again to hire people. If you're looking for a presidential candidate with the best experience, leadership and knowledge to boost job creation and to restore the American Dream, follow Marco Rubio, the next President of the United States of America.

Marco Rubio : I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Stephen Pearcy campaign rally in South Carolina

You know I am tired to Senator Rubio trying to act like he is Reagan reborn or something.

What happen to being yourself and not try to be like another person?  It seems like you not trying to be yourself.

My supporters *Crowd cheers* like me for being myself. I don't act like someone when trying to spread a political message.

Stephen Pearcy acts like well Stephen Pearcy when he campaigns.

After all I don't think he remembers that I have the endorsement of his wife Nancy.

Marco Rubio's response to Stephen Pearcy in Charleston, South Carolina

And I don't think Mr. Pearcy remembers that I saved Nancy Reagan from fall at the Reagan Presidential Library five years ago and that we all cherish Reagan's legacy that kept us safe and prosperous.

I also don't think Mr. Pearcy remembers that he has himself distanced from himself and quoted Ronald Reagan when he said that « government is not the solution to the problem. » Well, we all agree with that.

But unlike what Mr. Pearcy said, I am myself. I am my own person and I'm running to be a leader of the future, for a New American Century with a stronger economy through free market, stronger national unity through racial relations' improvement and stronger national security a more powerful military, expanded alliances and broader diplomacy. Unlike Mr. Pearcy who proposes nothing and only attacks his rivals, I am focused on the issues facing our country, I'm adopting an optimistic agenda for the 21st century, I am proposing an optimistic future for America and I know what it takes to get this economy growing again and to defeat terrorism, which is why I am the only one who can bring this party together, defeat the Democratic nominee and get things done.

[Crowd loudly applauds]

Marco Rubio Campaign Ad

In an effort to win among South Carolina's veterans and undecided voters who selected foreign policy and terrorism as the most important issue, Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts a T.V. ad narrating Marco Rubio's plan to defeat radical Islamic terrorism and to restore international peace and security.

The ad titled « Strength » airs mostly in South Carolina but also in Nevada, Alabama, Alaska Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia

« Strength » advertisement narration :

Narrator : In 1941, we were attacked in Pearl Harbor by the Japanese air forces and suffered heavy damages mostly because we were not ready for war and America's military power was approximately at its lowest rate.

In 1998, Bill Clinton has failed to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden after the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Africa committed by Al Qaida because our military and our Navy were smaller than ever before. Then, on September 11 2001, Al Qaida attacked us in New York City and Washington, causing 3000 deaths.

And in 2014, ISIS emerged and conquered a very large territory in Iraq and Syria due to America's disengagement from the War on Terror. ISIS committed terrorist attacks against the United States, especially in Garland, San Bernardino and Philadelphia, because we lowered our guards and because the Obama administration made our Navy smaller than at any time since World War I, our Army is headed for pre-World War II levels, and our Air Force has the smallest and oldest combat force in its history.

If we want peace, we have to be ready for war.

Marco Rubio will reinforce and modernize our military and our Navy. He will reinforce and expand our military partnerships with our allies, strike radical Islamic terrorists on their turf, restore sanctions against Iran to stop Tehran from getting the money to develop nuclear weapons, he will identify and arm all the anti-ISIS forces, and recommit to missile defense in order to destroy any nuclear missile launched by Iran or North Korea and prevent any nuclear war and any massive murderous disaster from being committed.

That is how we're going to defeat ISIS and international terrorism and to restore peace through strength with America's status as the strongest military power in the world.

Marco Rubio for international peace, freedom and security.

Marco Rubio Campaign GOTV Video

In an effort to encourage all of Marco Rubio's supporters in South Carolina to come out and vote for the Florida Senator in the South Carolina Republican primary on February 20, Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts a GOTV video featuring a bunch of Rubio supporters, celebrity supporting Rubio and some South Carolina officials narrating the challenges facing America, describing Marco Rubio as the strongest leader to face these challenges and calling to all of Rubio's supporters to increase their voting turnout and vote for Marco Rubio.

The ad titled « Important » airs in all the four corners of South Carolina

« Important » advertisement narration :

Voter 1 : America is living difficult and dark times.

Voter 2 : We are living the weakest economic progress in all America's history.

Voter 3 : Our constitutional rights are threatened by the eventuality of a liberal Supreme Court Justice.

Voter 4 : And we are seeing growing terrorist threat.

Voter 5 : This election is too much important to let the next four years be like the last eight years. That's why we need a strong leader for the 21st century.

Voter 6 : This leader is Marco Rubio. He is the only one who can unite and grow the Republican Party and lead us to victory by attracting new voters from the Hispanic community, from the African American community, from Independents, from the Middle Class, etc. And he is conservative on all issues, which will bring all conservatives together and lead us to victory.

Voter 7 : And South Carolina has an important role in determining the Republican presidential nominee.

Voter 8 : Because since 36 years, most of the time, the winner of the South Carolina Republican primary went on to become the Republican nominee.

Voter 9 : So we must all make our voices heard, come out and vote for Marco Rubio today.

Lindsey Graham : He has the knowledge and experience to make America safe again, which he will do with a stronger military, stronger alliances and stronger diplomacy, which will lead us to victory against terrorism.

Nikki Haley : He knows what it takes to bring a new American prosperity and he will do it by cutting taxes, spending and regulations, abolishing the IRS, restoring a business-friendly environment, getting us to energy independence, reforming our education system through school choice and balancing the budget.

Tim Scott : He will protect the Constitution of the United States by appointing constitutional conservatives to the Supreme Court of the United States, which will allow all unborn children to live, protect your right to defend yourselves by owning guns and defend freedom of religion as well as freedom of speech and freedom of press.

Jeanette Rubio (Marco Rubio's wife) : So we need you to vote for Marco because your future depends on it. We need your support. Every single vote counts. A vote for Marco Rubio is a vote for a Republican victory in November, a vote for the future and a vote a stronger, prosperous, safe and fair America.

Marco Rubio : I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Update: Nevada Caucus/South Carolina Primary

CNN: Key Race Alert: NV CAUCUS TOO CLOSE TO CALL -- SANDERS NARROWLY AHEAD

...

Gloria Borger: ....Tonight again shows the power of Bernie Sanders. His message is deep and it's wide, and Democrats, especially those who have bee dismissive of his campaign, should take notice.

Van Jones: Bernie Sanders is a reaction and a response to liberal neglect in the Obama Years - a belief among many progressives that he didn't go far enough, that he didn't deliver on the big issues. Tonight Bernie Sanders is speaking to the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party. The question remains does this message have legs in the general election?

David Axelrod: I still believe Elizabeth Warren will win. Maybe tonight is a squeaker, but I think in the long run she's progressive, but is also acceptable to the party as a whole.

Kirsten Powers: I do think it's concerning she, who has been a liberal icon, is having a tough time fighting off Bernie Sanders, a self described socialist.

Jeffey Lorde: That's just it! He's a socialist. He's where the party has moved and what it has become, so as a Republican I say go Bernie go, because if he wins, we win!

Anderson Cooper: Excuse me panel, but we have a projection to make.

Wolf Blitzer: Yes, Anderson. CNN can project Bernie Sanders will win the Nevada Caucuses.
✓ Bernie Sanders Wins Nevada Caucus

Wolf Blitzer: A close win for Senator Sanders -- certainly both sides will call it a draw, but a win nevertheless for Bernie Sanders.

✓ Bernie Sanders: 50.09% (18)
Elizabeth Warren: 49.91% (17)

8:00 PM EST

South Carolina Republican Primary

✓ Marco Rubio Wins SC Primary

Wolf Blitzer: A very big win for Senator Marco Rubio. He wins by a wide margin in South Carolina tonight and will automatically collect 47 delegates outright, with the rest being decided proportionally. Repeat, CNN is now projecting Marco Rubio the winner in South Carolina.

✓ Marco Rubio: 50.02% (47+12)
Stephen Pearcy: 27.98% (6)
Rand Paul: 21.99% (3)

Jeffrey Lorde: Another big win for Rubio. He's now won two of the three states and tonight, by a wide margin. Certainly, we have many more contests to go and Pearcy and Paul are not going anywhere, but I think tonight will send a big message for Rubio and help his campaign.

David Axelrod: I had to go back to 2000, when George W. Bush beat John McCain, to find a candidate who won by this big a margin in the Republican Primary and with over 50% of the vote. Now certainly, the Pearcy and Paul Campaigns will say their votes combined almost equal Rubio's, but the fact is this state has generally played a crucial role in deciding who wins the Republican nomination.

Anderson Cooper: The outlier being of course four years ago when Newt Gingrich defeated Mitt Romney.

David Gergen It's a very good night for Marco Rubio, but it's also a good night for the Anti-Rubio candidate. For a while I think many people, including myself figured it would be Rand Paul, but after his narrow win in New Hampshire and now third place finish in South Carolina, I see that there might be a coalescing around Stephen Pearcy.

David Axelrod Both are drawing from the same libertarian wing of the party, but there is a sense that Pearcy might be a wild card. He's not a politician, he's new to the political scene and in this environment where we're seeing Bernie Sanders do so well on the Democratic side, Pearcy might be a response to the establishment for the Republicans. The next two questions I see are: Can he catch up to Marco Rubio, which the only way I see that happening is he is able to make this a one on one race, and two and this is really the most important: Can he win a state.

Jeffrey Lorde: If I'm Stephen Pearcy, I'm putting a greater focus on Nevada, because if he can defeat Rubio there he probably can force Paul out of the race and make this a one on one contest.

Marco Rubio's victory speech at the Best Western Charleston Inn in Charleston, South Carolina

Thank you South Carolina!

[Applause from the crowd]

Thanks to our great efforts and to your support, we won one of the most crucial states in determining the issue of this race. You and I are aware that since 36 years, most of the time, the winner of the South Carolina primary has become the Republican nominee.

[Applause from the crowd]

Of course, we still have work to do and thanks to the hard work we made here and the hard work we will make all across this country, we will win the Republican nomination, we will defeat the Democrats and we will get this country back on track. We will win. America will win.

[Applause from the crowd]

While President Obama expands taxes and regulations on businesses and the American people, all the country, including the Palmetto State, is worrying about its economy and its jobs. I listened to South Carolinians and I proposed to reduce the cost of doing business in America just like Governor Haley did for the cost of doing business in South Carolina, which will make our companies competitive and more able to produce, to innovate, to grow, to expand and to create jobs. By listening to your concerns about America's economic situation and proposing such solutions, I earned your support and I'm thankful of it because our kids, including my daughters Amanda and Daniella and my sons Dominick and Anthony, as well as all future generations deserve a better future than the one Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are preserving and they will earn this better future if we win on November.

While President Obama is proving himself weak on fighting international terrorism, all the country, including South Carolina, a state with military tradition, is worrying about international security. I listened to South Carolinians and I took the pledge to promote peace through strength by modernizing our military, increasing our military presence on strategic points, reinforcing our alliances and by fighting and destroying terrorism through military strength. By understanding your concerns, I proposed a strong foreign policy solution that will bring permanent international peace and freedom, so I earned your support and I thank you for that!

Thanks to this victory here in South Carolina, we got closer to the Republican nomination. South Carolina makes nominees. South Carolina makes presidents. When I'll become our party's nominee, we will unite and expand this party, we will bring the American people together with my optimistic agenda, which will lead us to victory against whoever the Democrats will nominate and help us putting America back on track and on the right direction.

Thank you! God bless you all, God bless South Carolina and God bless America.

[Applause from the crowd]

Pearcy to campaign all around Nevada in one day
The Hill.com

Stephen Pearcy who has shot up the polls will campaign in 4 major cities all in one day.

He will start early in the morning in Reno to campaign with actor Sylvester Stanole on economic and tax polices then around then around late morning early afternoon he will hit Carson City to campaign with actor and House of Cards star Kevin Spacey on bipartisanship and getting things done.

He will then in the mid afternoon go to Henderson and campaign with Erik Prince in foreign policy and what the Pearcy doctrine will be like.

Then at night we will campaign in Las Vegas with Vince McMannon to campaign on healthcare and how he will repeal Obamacare.

Elizabeth Warren Concession Speech

The bad news is we didn't win, but we did keep the delegate race at a dead heat, and we have the lead in South Carolina! So, we're going to keep going! Obviously, Senator Sanders ran an excellent campaign, and I congratulate him for it, but at the end of this race, we will win the nomination!

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

February 21, 2016

Meet Voters in Jonesville, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

Debate Prep in Jonesville, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

February 22, 2016

Appearance on Hardball with Chris Matthews, from Jonesville, South Carolina

So Senator, you've lost two contests in a row. Is there a possibility of a shake-up in your campaign?
Well, technically, all three contests have been essentially draws, so I don't believe they have been true losses. We're even in pledged delegates now, so whoever wins South Carolina, and does better on Super Tuesday will be a long way towards being the nominee, and I still believe that will be me.

Meet Voters in Union, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

Meet Voters in Tega Cay, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

Debate Prep in Tega Cay, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

February 23, 2016

Speech at Winthrop Coliseum, Rock Hill, South Carolina (With Joe Biden)

I was asked yesterday who I would consider nominating to replace Justice Scalia should I be elected. I would consider Sri Srinvasan, Jacqueline Nugyen, Denny Chin, and Patricia Millett amongst others. These are highly qualified individuals, who have a track record of progressive credentials.

BREAKING: OBAMA TO NOMINATE JUDGE MERRICK GARLAND TO SCOTUS
Pres. Obama announced his pick of Merrick Garland to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court. Obama called Garland, a 'extremely competent jurist', and one who 'would serve with integrity and constitutional pragmatism'. Congressional Republicans have been steadfast in their opposition to an appointment to the Supreme Court, during a Presidential election year. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blasted the  President, saying "The American people will decide in November who will sit on the Supreme Court of the United States, not an outgoing President." The White House denounced the Majority Leader's comments as 'childish' and called on Congress 'to act, not politic'.

Just to be sure, is Garland officially nominated or can he still be blocked in Congress?

If you read what NHI posted, Obama nominated Garland, but McConnell and Senate Republicans (like Rubio, I assume) won't give him a hearing.

-Speech about the American Dream at Sam's Town Hotel (where Marco Rubio's father worked as a bartender) in Las Vegas, Nevada with Brian Sandoval and Orrin Hatch :

Hello Nevada. It's really amazing to be back here in Nevada, a state that I could call my second home state. I spent six years here in Las Vegas as a child growing not far from here.

And it's here, at the Sam's Town Hotel, that my father Mario Rubio worked as a bartender. Our family's story is a basic example of the essence of the American Dream. Even though my parents came in this country in 1956 while they had no money and weren't speaking English at that time, they managed to be successful thanks to their hardworking. Their hardworking also allowed their children, including me, to accomplish the dreams my parents once had for themselves and to have all the doors that were closed for my parents open for us. This is not only my story. It's the story of all the American people.

But right now, we have a President who doesn't believe in the values that make America great, raising taxes and regulations on the American people, increasing the size of government and making us dependent on foreign oil, all policies that diminished free enterprise. When I'm President of the United States, we will restore free enterprise as well as the American Dream by cutting taxes and regulations for all the people, reducing government spending, abolishing the IRS, getting our country to energy independence, reducing our corporate tax rate to 20 % and lowering the cost of doing business in America. That way, just like my parents did for us through hard work, we will make our children and the next generations the most prosperous Americans that ever lived.

-Speech in Henderson, Nevada, in reaction to Merrick Garland's nomination to SCOTUS by Barack Obama :

Barack Obama seeks to appoint Merrick Garland at the Supreme Court of the United States. If he's appointed, these would be bad news for America because it will give us a liberal Supreme Court, which will undermine the Constitution of the United States, American values and liberty. Many more unborn children will die through abortion, the Obama administration will get rid of the Second Amendment, thus putting lives in danger due to a greater number of defenceless people, undermine freedom of religion and award Guantanamo terrorists through constitutional rights despite the crimes and terrorist attacks they committed against the United States here and abroad. That's why Merrick Garland must be blocked. When I become President of the United States, I will appoint a constitutional conservative at the SCOTUS in my first 100 days, thus protecting our Constitution, unborn children, the right to wear guns and to self-defense and freedom of religion.

Pearcy campaign rallying on auditing the fed

One of the first things I want to do when I am president is to audit the fed. They have had it for to long!

The Fed needs to be audited to see if its ruling body has broken the law by manipulating financial markets that are outside its jurisdiction. A thorough investigation of the Fed will show once and for all if its former chief Ben Bernanke and current Chairwoman Yellen are corporate criminals

I know, that’s a bold statement coming as it does on. But it won’t be so preposterous some day in the future if the stock market suffers a full-blown economy-busting collapse and Congress and everyone else are looking for scalps.

*Crowd cheers*

I will propose that the US government should “require a full audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal reserve banks by the Comptroller General of the United States, and for other purposes.

If you want to get a sense of just how incredibly powerful the Federal Reserve really is, forget about interest rates, reserve requirements Instead, think about this: In an age utterly bereft of bipartisanship, auditing the nation’s central bank is one of the few issues on which  most of all presidential candidates agree on. Polls consistently show anywhere between 70 percent and 80 percent of Americans supporting an audit that would not just open the Fed’s ledger books but peer into exactly how monetary policy gets set.
