     I hope the courts would have the sense to not interpret the masculine pronouns in the gendered sense considering that they have historically been valid in a gender-neutral context, but better safe than sorry in this regard.

     The amendment is friendly. I will also propose Prime Minister Truman's suggestion as an amendment. Senators have 24 hours to object to these amendments.
