There is a bloodbath of on air talent going on at ESPN right now in case anyone has missed it, a few of the high profile names are:
Ed Werder (NFL reporter, 17 year ESPN veteran)
Jayson Stark (MLB reporter, 17 year ESPN veteran)
Scott Burnside (NHL reporter)
Danny Kanell (NFL and College Football reporter, popular 8 year veteran)
Trent Dilfer (NFL reporter)

I forgot Dilfer was on ESPN.  I thought he was on the NFL Network.  But who cares about him?

ESPN, like many cable channels and cable companies are losing buckets of money.  This is because they were all dickheads for decades and now that the consumer has good alternatives, we're leaving in droves.  efff 'em, efff 'em all.

When they cover the coasts, especially the east and then ignore most of the rest of the country, even when they are having amazing seasons/post seasons, people are going to desert.

They fired Pierre LeBrun too. At least one good thing to come out of this.

Eh. Bad hockey coverage is better than the direction they seem to be moving in, which is no hockey coverage.

Their hockey coverage could be done better by a 16 year old.

Cord-cutting is a prisoner's dilemma for everyone. The more people do it, the fewer and more expensive channels we're going to have. Enjoy the Golden Age of TV while it lasts.

Andy Katz too now.  And, Stephen A. Smith is still there.  Stick to sports, ESPN- not politics!

The conservative fantasy that millions of people are turning off ESPN because they occasionally mention Colin Kaepernick or whatever is ludicrous. ESPN is suffering because of cord-cutting, nothing else.

What's wrong with Stephen A. Smith. He's like the third best sports analyst after Bill Walton and Charles Barkley.
