Or else what?
Or else you're being a whiny baby.

I actually don't think that the lawsuit should do anything yet, if it hasn't even been taken up by Jbrase. That's like me suing you for breathing and then when you breathe say it's illegal because I already sued you.
How does that make sense?

Look up the meaning of the word 'injunction'.

You know, I *distinctly* remember offering my vote for the bill with the stipulation that it take effect at the end of this session.

You objected.

You can't order an injunction. You filed for one, but you aren't the emperor. You're a delegate, not a judge.

You didn't like the new rules going into effect immediately. You were outvoted. Then, because you didn't get your way, you sued. Then you lied to and convinced the leadership that the new rules which were duly passed by the legislature and completely constitutional were actually not in effect.

Before that, you were lying about what was in the previous rules. You made up a "legislative queue" that did not exist.

Even before that, you made up a different rule, that someone whose vote was edited more than 15 minutes after it was posted does not count.

...and I'm sick of it.

Why are we arguing about the lawsuit on this thread?

I politely request and highly suggest you and Ben take this to the appropriate thread, Mr. Cuber.

Allowing a simple majority of Delegates to override a veto sets a dangerous precedent.
It's not really a simple majority persay since it's 3/4 (with 1 not voting)
Traditionally, the 3/5 threshold has been calculated as being a fraction of all sitting delegates (to avoid a situation where a vote of 1-0-4 results in the override of a gubernatorial veto). IIRC, this method was adopted with the new Rules of Order.

Exactly, I'm not a fan of this bill at all but if Celtic votes for it then it is what it is.

I still don't really see what the whole hub-bub is about it. It only mandates the flag is flown on Confederate Memorial Day and protects Confederate monuments/graves.

As I've said before I don't think flying the Confederate flag is a great way to say we're on the side of black people.

Yeah, Gothic was also the highest vote-getter in the south too.

He has a clear mandate from Labor.

Sorry for the delay, but since the voting period has ended and no votes were cast, the original vote of 3 in favor, 1 against stands, and the veto override passes.

(Apologies for the mistake in number of votes, it was 5am and I didn't see that I tyed "4" instead of "3")
