It's more about the fact that he doesn't stick to one statement. Is he going to meet with him or "bomb the sh-t" out of him? That's a huge flip-flop to make.

Also, where in this thread have you seen anyone saying what you've said? Stop rushing to generalizations because it fits your narrative.

What makes you think the two are incompatible, or that the one doesn't even make the other more likely rather than less? (For example, Kim might point out how small Trump's hands are.)

Although to be fair, Trump does seem to get along much better with America's opponents on the world stage than he does with our friends. And I would definitely rather see us talking than fighting. (Although I'm truly a little worried that such talks could be used as an excuse for war, kind of like the run-up to Iraq.)

Did you not notice the way he dealt with the other candidates, and journalists and others during the Primaries and the general election? He sends out a very consistent message

You be nice to me and I'll be very complimentary and positive about you

You be nasty or a threat to me and I'll punch you back ten times harder

He consistently sends out, and acts on, the message "You play nice and I'll be nice, you play nasty and I'll be 10 times nastier" His behaviour always consistently follows this pattern, whether its with other candidates, whether is with journalists or whether its with other world leaders.

"You have a choice, you can have nice Trump or you can have nasty Trump. If you play nice, don't provoke, don't continue with your nuke program then you can can have nice Trump. Trump has always wanted to be a dictator. Having been on the receiving end of 100 days of  very expensive remedial education on how the President of the United States is not a dictator, he would now like to make himself into one.
