That Missouri is just farms (although I've heard this more from Missourians trying to correct that statement).

Also that Missouri and Indiana are basically the same politically (they're not).

I would argue that they are pretty similar politically, and Indiana is probably the closest match to Missouri, but they definitely aren't the same.
