84% of the vote counted.

Vote share     Seats won      Implied vote share in
                                                               contested districts
LREM+        48.52%           245                    54.0%
LR+             27.18%           115                    49.1%
PS+               7.95%            39                     51.8%
FI+                4.92%            13                     35.7%
FN+               9.97%             9                      47.6%

More and more urban votes coming in and more LREM-FI seats being counted so the vote share of both will be going up.

No, that's not over yet. That's the final result for the commune of Évry, apparently. Recounts under way.

Actually, Corbeil, supposed to be Amrani's best commune of the constituency, just came out and she's got 58.5%. Not sure it will be enough, but the whole thing is awfully close.

Oh well. Celebrated too soon.

NKM is apparently defeated in Paris

(48 polling stations in, out of 54)
54% for LREM, 46% for LR

Wow.  I guess there was no sympathy vote.

I am well aware of the origins of the word ghetto, but I don't see anything wrong with asking it.

France 24 says that LREM headquarters is very quite and somber.  They know they totally under-performed.

Beautiful! Hopefully this is a harbinger of things to come.

More majorities for macronismo! I agree.

Valls claims victory with 50.3 % of the vote. Usually he's more around 49.3...

Given the structure of the vote on the first round I am surprised that it is this close.

Well actually, considering the 1st round ended on 42% for LREM & 18% for LR/NKM, I'd say there had to have been at least some sympathy vote lol

For the PC police I will happily rephrase it: to what extent would one say that large swathes of Valls' constituency can be considered socio-economically underprivileged sensitive urban zones?

Vote share     Seats won      Implied vote share in
                                                               contested districts

LR+             27.21%           117                    49.2%
PS+               7.72%            41                     50.3%
FI+                5.29%            16                     38.4%
FN+               9.65%             9                      46.1%

More and more urban votes coming in and more LREM-FI seats being counted so the vote share of both will be going up.  LREM getting the large bulk of new seats counted.  The results converging toward Ipsos projection.

There are rather poor zones in Évry and especially Corbeil. But Corbeil had been transformed into Dassault land, even if there was still a PCF tradition there. Lisses, Bondoufle and Villabé are much more suburbia.

Seems like PCF won 92-01 (Faucillon), but lost 92-11 (Boudjenah).

Also, FI wins both Lille constituencies, which is a major LOL. 59-01 is very tight though, FI 50.1% !
