By a region's political leanings I mean not only its voting habits at the Presidential level but also at the state and federal levels as well. Alongside that, I would also take into consideration its past voting history, its projected voting patterns, and the particular political and cultural values adhered to by the residents of that region. Of course, that will largely be based on generalizations and even stereotypes, but it is essentially your "feel" of that region and/or experience in it that you should reference.

*I am well aware that my definitions of regions will not be universally accepted; you are free to think they are right or wrong, but that is not the issue to be discussed here.

Hmm, hard to say. Maybe some weird combination of West Coast, Mountain West, and Southwest?

Definitely where I was born, where I was raised (though a good portion was spent in East Asia), and where I am now.

I think the southern Mid-Atlantic fits me to a T.  As fond as I am of the Pacific Northwest, I would probably be regarded as too moderate or too conservative for Democrats and liberals out there.

I think I'll go with the Upper South, with the Deep South coming in a close second.

Upper south, they were smart enough to vote for Clinton in the 90s and Trump/Romney/Bush etc. later.
You do have to be pretty smart to vote for a rapist.

I get you identify your self most with the south(i do the same with the west coast ) but your political views I would say are totally different the the ones from the deep south so you really cant identify your politics with the ones from that region(just like I cant for the west coast).

The Deep South is definitely the most populist region in line with him.

Bill is a terrible person but you have to admit he's a talented politician.
Sure, but that doesn't make one smart for voting for him.
