1994 caused the polarization-riddled awful political age we're in today, made Gingrich relevant, and it's all been downhill from there. 2016 is intriguing, but it leads to the Democrats getting destroyed in 2018 and a Cruz/Rubio-type (worse, politically, than Trump) getting elected in 2020. 2000 is nothing compared to these two. 1994 it is, I guess.
