I never considered this to even be a real thing, just a conspiracy theory by paranoid Christians, but I was looking up religious groups non hostile to gays, and it was listed prominently on Wikipedia. So apparently it's enough of a thing to be relevant.

you know Theistic Satanists?  I've always just kind of assumed Satanists (or any stripe) were like Flat Earthers (of any stripe), most of 'em were just doing it for the yuks with a tiny fraction of mentally ill true believers, very thin on the ground.  I don't think I've ever met someone who claimed to be a flat earther and it's been a long time since I've run into someone claiming to be a Satanist and all of them were just trolling Christians/other religious folk as far as I could tell....but I don't get out much.

Satanism is 90% atheist trolls and 10% people who got waaaaaay too deep into metal music. I don't understand those  who legitimately believe in Satan as a deity aside from just being maybe mentally disturbed to a degree.

What do you think about the Mormons who turned away black people because "they have the mark of Cain"? I'm not talking about the vast majority of Mormons that are around today, just the Mormons in the past.
