I know many Trump voters.

That in itself is odd.

I knew a Florida 2000 Nader voter who has since voted Democratic.

I know of someone who opposes spaying/neutering dogs/cats but volunteers at an abortion clinic.

I knew the president of College Democrats at N.C. State (my alma mater) who openly considered voting for Bush in 2000 (not sure how he actually voted).

I knew a gay man who votes Republican even though his partner is an immigrant trying to remain in the U.S.
Was that person a Dem before voting for Nader in 2000?

She was 20 years old in 2000 and I don't know how she voted in 1998.
Oh she was really young in 2000.

A few weeks ago I drove by a car with pro-life, pro-gun and Hillary 2016 bumper stickers on it.

My mom voted Perot (I think), Dole, Bush, Kerry, McCain, Romney & Clinton, thus finally breaking the curse of always voting for candidates who lost the popular vote (but definitely establishing a new trend of voting for the candidate who loses the presidency).

To make things weirder, she's basically a straight-ticket Dem voter for all non-presidential elections (but like many around here, votes in GOP primaries because that's where the action is).
Just call your mom anti-incumbent in Presidential Elections!

In other words, people with an unusual or contradictory voting history. For example, my father was a Nader/Romney voter.

I'm a Nader/Romney voter as well, I suppose.  I voted for Ralph Nader for president in 2000 and Mitt Romney in 2012.  Did your father vote for Obama in 2008 and for Bradford Lyttle in 2016?  I did.  So I'm an Obama/Lyttle voter and a Nader/Romney voter!  Smiley

I know two people that are still Republicans but are pretty liberal. They say they voted GOP through Bush and now seem to only vote for Dems and have since 2008.

My dad's a bit odd (I'm not aware of his voting history prior to 1992, if any):

Ross Perot (1992 and 1996)
Harry Browne (2000)
John Kerry (2004, Edwards in the primary)
Barack Obama (2008 - primary and general, 2012)
Hillary Clinton (2016 - primary and general).

He is what most would call a white working-class voter. He also despises Trump as much as most on the left do.

My maternal grandpa also is a bit odd from what I can recall. He voted for Jesse Jackson in the '80s, Perot in the '90s, and he's been a staunch (registered) Libertarian since. I'm fairly certain he voted for Gary Johnson last year.

I have an elderly relative who has voted Republican her whole life (starting with Nixon in 1960) but her last four Presidential votes have been Bush, Obama, Romney, Johnson.  Johnson wasn't too much of a surprise (she wasn't enthused by him, but detested both Clinton and Trump), but Obama in 2008 was a shock to me.

Me.

I voted Dukakis in '88, Bush in '92, Dole in '96, Bush in '00, nobody in '04, nobody in '08, nobody in '12, and McMullin in '16.
