I seem to have something of a taste for gin. Er, I mean, I would never drink alcohol underage. I'm a good girl.

My favorites are hard cider, plum wine, and sake.

I don't drink and have no intentions to do such a thing.

That said, wine smells the best from what alcohol has passed by my nose. Specifically a good Rose.

Finally, something we have in common! Wink

I'm also developing a taste for whiskey (although I'm working my way into it through bullsh**t baby blends) and like the kinds TDAS04 likes plus sweet liqueurs, white wine, and some of the less tannic types of red wine.

So far I've usually had a preference for white wine.

The only beer I've bought over the past couple years has been various IPAs. For harder stuff, I do like some vodka and whiskey though, even if I rarely partake in it.

- Italian liqueurs, particularly Fernet, Campari, Aperol, and Cynar.
- Plymouth gin, but I also like Hendricks and Tanqueray
- Arak, preferably Kawar
- Chilled potato vodka, preferably Chopin, only with caviar
- Champagne, particularly blanc des blancs but also Moët or Veuve when I'm at a black club
- Cognac, basically only Hennessy XO which is a family tradition
- Any bourbon from the Buffalo Trace #2 mashbill, particularly Elmer T. Lee
- Lowland single-malts as an early evening/morning drink, particularly Glenkinchie
- Islay malts for long nights with a close friend or two, any Laphroaig will do but I like the cask strength
- Clynelish 14 as an everyday single malt
- Macallan 18 on special occasions
- Japanese whiskies, mostly Hibiki, Taketsuru, and Yamazaki

- Occasional wine with meals, preferably New World, but I do appreciate Old World, particularly Rhône wines
- Miller Lite when I have my cap on backwards, Yuengling or Guinness for everyday drinking

Yeah, I have problems.

Veuve is pretty great (literal champagne socialist and massive HP), but I only buy it for New Year's Eve. I go with prosecco if I want sparkling wine otherwise.

I've never had alcohol (even though I'm old enough to legally drink it) and never plan to.

I really don't drink, and generally like to be the designated driver when I go out with my friends. It's not for much of a moral reason, more just that I don't particularly like the taste of alcohol or the sensation of being drunk. That being said, I enjoy a good whisky every now and then.

Red wine, especially a Cab or Pinot Noir. I also like champagne or hard cider every so often.

Everything? My main go-to's are beer (but not crazy heavy on the American hops), Mount Gay Rum (with tonic), chianti, Pinot Grigio, amaretto, scotch, makers mark, and fixings for an Irish coffee.

I don't drink, and don't see any reason to. From the few beverages I tasted, alcohol just doesn't taste good and its effect on the mind is something I truly dislike.

I don't drink much, but when i do, mostly hard ciders. When I do heavier drinking most rums are my go to, and Hennessy.
But I'll drink most anything unless it very heavily smells like vodka, or has gin in it.

What am I doing?  If it's meeting friends for a drink, beer on draft every single time.  If it's the weekend and I might get a little rowdy that night, a mix of beer and mixed drinks.  Every once in a while, I'll feel classy and drink whiskey straight, usually on the rocks but I've grown to like it neat, too.  Huge fan of red wine, but I only ever get that if I'm out for a nice family dinner or if I'm at home; I rarely order it with my friends.  As for mixed drinks, usually stick to just rum or whiskey drinks.  Overall:

LOVE
Beer
Whiskey
Rum
Red Wine

OKAY
Vodka

DISLIKE
White Wine
Tequila

HATE
Gin

I'll occasionally drink a couple of beers while watching sports (go local team!) or out with friends or after some vigorous activity out in the sun.  30ish a year.  In my younger days I'd use vodka to get drunk.  I've never cared for any thing else.

methanol, for dissolving polar fluorescent dyes; ethanol, for consumption; propanol, for injuries; butanol, for dissolving less polar fluorescent dyes; phenol, for stripping paint and dissolving epoxides.

There are a bunch of others I like but those are my favorites.  Among them I like ethanol best, of course.  Smiley

I'm not big on wine or beer and have had them but would never buy/order them. I like mixed drinks, but rarely drink them due to cost.

Beer, primarily.

I tend to like sweeter wines. Rum is excellent when mixed with Coke. Whiskey is okay mixed with Coke. Vodka can die in a million fires. Everclear is dangerous when in jungle juice, and I love it. Haven't really experimented with much else. My next project is tequila because based on experiences with friends who have gotten tequila drunk, it's different.
