I have the Democrats picking up Nevada, Arizona, and Texas, but the Republicans picking up Montana, West Virginia, Missouri, North Dakota, Indiana, and Wisconsin, giving them a 55 seat majority.

On the other hand, I have the Democrats regaining control of the House of Representaitves due to the unpopularity of the Trump Administration and dissatisfaction with the record of House Republicans. At the minimum, I see the Democrats picking up 30 House seats (mostly from states such as California, New York, and New Jersey), but also feel that the Democrats could pick up 75 House seats from the Republicans if they play their cards right.

I'm going to say that every Democratic incumbent is re-elected in 2018 and Dean Heller in NV is defeated.  The Republicans lose 1 seat.

Democrats gain the 24 seats they need to take back the House OR they come very close to taking it back, but either way the House is as divided as the country is.

Instead of massive Democratic landslides in 2018, I think the results will reflect the nation's deep polarization, giving us no clear answers as for 2020.

Somewhere between generic midterm and Dem wave, a 1982-like year.

Senate: R+2
House: D+30, 224D/211R, someone other than Pelosi becomes Speaker
Governors: D+6
State Legislatures: WA senate, CO senate, ME senate and AZ senate flip to D's, coalition ends for full R control in AK house, coalition forms between Dems and moderate R's to share control in KS senate.

I've done zero research into the gubernatorial races so I won't comment on those at this time, but I can see the GOP picking up 8-10 Senate seats given the makeup of the states that are up for vote.
